However, this is not the case for our dear beloved Mandla who like hip hop sensation Rick Ross loves his awesome chub and is never afraid of showing off his belly every now and then. Oh wait! Well most of the times.
We all wish and pray we had such confidence as his and we are sure to take some tips from this funny guy, a lot of things could be learnt about boosting our self-esteem.
Putting the selfesteem aside and getting a bit realistice, we all know weight gain can affect everything in one's life more so relationships a matter of fact is what is up between Mandla and his sweet heart Lexi who doesn't doesn't approve of his fat belly. She expressed her concerns about Mandla's weight gain saying that he is not putting enough effort into shedding some kilo's.
On double check, actually Mandla is not the only one putting too much weight lately. It's no stranger to our eyes that a number of Housemates in the Big Brother Mzansi House are putting a lot of weight these days as well. Think about Sol, Kat and Loko; they have certainly put on a few kilos or more. This is no bummer anyway as we can see some positives out of it that are comfort to the mind, one being that there's no starving in Biggie's House.
Weight might be a problem to some other people but Mandla seems to have accepted the situation at hand. It's not such a threatening situation if one to thinks about it, hence there are many other ways to deal with it. Compliments from Biggie, the Housemates have the privilege to shed a kilo or two in their usual morning exercises.
Ignorance is not best anyway because, some people have a genetic tendency to gain weight more easily than others.
It isn't anyone’s fault. We've grown up in a culture that, despite its ability to analyze and even condemn its own behaviors, seems to have been divinely designed to perpetuate its own obsessions.
So Lexi, Mandla has said it, "He is not his hair, He is not his tits, He is not your expectations"! We trust that you got the point.
