Three months after they won about R2 million on the reality show Big Brother Mzansi, they were in the news for not being able to pay their debts because they haven’t received their prize money yet.
The couple Ntombi Tshabalala (22) and Nkanyiso “Ace” Khumalo (24) were so broke that they allegedly couldn’t afford their R3 000 rent.
However, now we can reveal that the couple have received their millions and their lives have changed for the better.
They have their own reality show, Ntombi and Ace, on Mzansi Magic; they’ve recorded a killer track called Qabashwe, which has already been played on Channel O; and they’ve bought a brand new house and a car.
Unlike many who hit the jackpot and blow their windfall on luxuries, this couple has shown unbelievable restraint and not gone on a wild spending spree.
NtombAce, as they’re referred to, bought a two-bedroom\two-bathroom apartment in the quiet suburb of Honeydew, Joburg. It’s far from palatial but the couple pride themselves that they paid cash for it.
