The Queen Blue joins another TV show - star dribbles her way to 'Diski Divas'

Thandi "Blue" Mbombo of Big Brother Mzansi fame has joined the fray as a new cast member of Diski Divas, Mzansi Magic's controversial reality show.
The model-turned-reality television star has been shooting for the past week after the producers approached her.
The show follows the glamorous and often tumultuous lives of women who are either married, divorced or dated soccer stars. Recently two divas - Katlego Mohoaduba and Wendy Parker - were red-carded after allegedly assaulting fellow diva Nonhle Ndala.
The matter is currently in court.
Meanwhile, it is believed that Mbombo has shacked up with Katlego "K2" Mabusela, the boyfriend she met during their stay at Big Brother Mzansi some three months ago.
Mbombo was in an on-off relationship with Nigerian-born player Onyekachi Okonkwo of Mpumalanga Black Aces, who was once with Orlando Pirates. Things allegedly fell apart for Okonkwo and Mbombo when she defied him by going into the Big Brother Mzansi house - choosing the show over him.
Yesterday, Mbombo confirmed that she was part of the show but declined to comment on her experience so far.
"All I can say is that I have been shooting since last week. My supporters must watch the show. I'm grateful for their support so far," she said.
Mbombo also declined to comment on whether she has moved in with Mabusela, insisting "people must just watch the show".
Mabusela, on the other hand, said he threw his lot behind her move and will appear with her on her debut episode.
"Everything that happened in her past stays in her past. Right now, Blue is my wife and it is going to stay that way for a long time.
"She is not capitalising on her past, she got a platform from Big Brother. They approached her and not the other way round.
"I'm very proud of her. It shows that the hustle hasn't stopped. We discussed it first before she did it. The schedule is crazy, obviously she is doing the show again and I'm focusing on music. I premiered a single on YFM and shot my music video last week," he said.
Mabusela, whose biography on Big Brother Mzansi reads that he lived in Cape Town for the past year, declined to comment on whether they have moved in together. He instead laughed and said: "I don't know if that's true."
Bongiwe Potelwa of Mzansi Magic said in a statement: "At this point I can confirm that Blue will be joining Diski Divas. Further developments will be shared as soon as we have the rest of the info from production."
Okonkwo could not be reached on his cellphone for comment.
