As time flies, the reality about the game gets clearer more so to the housemates. Today's diary sessions for instance draws a more clear example of this.
To kick off the sessions was the ever charismatic Mandla who told Biggie he can see that everyone is on their game, Jase with his constant pranks and Kat using her feminine wiles to keep her in the House. His response to being caught in the middle of the conflict between Sol and Lexi was calm and collected in true Mandla fashion but when confronted with what he would do in a Save and Replace situation, he said he wouldn’t know.
Immediately after him was Thando who talk mainly revolved around strategies saying that she feels Lexi has changed significantly since the beginning of the game, she has now become softer and less abrasive which is possibly a strategy to get viewers to like her.
She however, was not as forthright about her own strategy, saying that her plan was to come into the House and not be a threat to anyone but she is confused as to whether or not her ‘neutral’ state has really been applied at all.
Lola had little to say in her Diary session although she did take the time to put in a good word for her boy Jase, saying that even though he is the worst dancer in the House, he is the one putting in the most effort. She is also confident that they will win the Dance Task.
MK also made a point of the fact that everyone is upping their game and starting to assert themselves a lot more.
His confidence has definitely been boosted by this week’s theme; saying that he had no idea that he was such a strong dancer and touched on the fact that he believes he has a lot of fans out there.
Word up MK, you go wit yo bad self!
And then there was Lexi, always walking to the beat of your own drum, you have gone from being the resident dark source of drama to the newest little ray of sunshine to beam her rays of positivity in every crevice of the Big Brother Mzansi House.
There has been such a change in her demeanour, Biggie even commented on it the moment she sat down. She told him that she just got to a point where she had to sit down and pull herself toward herself.
It’s so funny, now that everyone is at such a critical, cut-throat stage in the competition; Lexi seems to think that everyone is getting along like a house on fire (pun intended).
It was reassuring to hear that her beef with Sol will never have anything to do with Mandla.
How fitting that up next came the always entertaining Diary sessions of the infamous ‘Sol of the House’ who always regales us with his sordid tales and fond memories.
He started out asking Biggie when he is going back to the Secret Island at which point he was abruptly shut down. He then went into detail about his relationship with Kat, saying that he feels like she has changed.
Sol and Kat have always been close but now Sol says that she is just trying too hard, sleeping in his bed every night and throwing her affection at him. He hopes that she doesn’t think that he saved her because that certainly is NOT the case.
Sol said that in light of the game and everything that’s happened, Kat is definitely slacking, saying very simply that, “Kit-Kat is a midnight snack.” Wow!
Other interesting things that came out of his Diary Session were that he feels Lola and Thando are paying way more attention to him because he is HoH, he sees MK and Mandla as his competition but says he saved Mandla because he would expect him to do the same for him.
Iris told Biggie that her and Lola are MK’s ‘wives’ and that because she is the new ‘wife’, she is garnering all the attention from him.
We are all captivated by the Michelle Obama lookalike, but lately Kat’s actions have been more than questionable.
Her Diary session was no different saying that Sol is practically ‘clinging to her’; she also believes that he saved her and it will be to his benefit because he will want her around for as long as possible.
Boy is she in for a rude awakening! She also turned everything on its head when she said that Jase actually used her and that she is not finished with him yet as she wants to confront him.
The fresh-faced youngster Jase’s turn came after former flame Kat and obviously he spoke about how this week’s Task had him feeling a bit low. However he has decided that he is learning something new and that he is looking forward to the presentation.
He revealed how he is not on speaking terms with Kat, but her relationship with Sol is definitely blossoming. When asked about his relationship with Sol, ‘whatever’ was the answer.
Poor Jase, the guy can’t seem to get a break lately.
Loko was in all kinds of pain so her session was kept brief, but she did say that the pranking would continue and that due to her dancing prowess, some of the Housemates are using her as a crutch but she doesn't mind.
Mzamo has been keeping a pretty low profile lately but when he sat down with Biggie he expressed how tired of all the fighting he is and that he just wants to be happy.
He thinks that Sol definitely saved Kat and that he believes Mandla and Lexi’s relationship to be nothing but a game.
Things are getting heavy and it will serve the Housemates well to remember that all is fair in love and war.
Kat i love you but i am not impressed by your manipulation game. how did Jase used you? you used him and humiliated him with all your actions and now you are or a mission to upset him with your so called confrontations? are you for real? you have moved on and jase is not chasing after you because he saw through you, that is what is hurting you.you and the witch, thando leave my sweet, gorgeous jase alone please....nxa
