There were the usual decompression sessions and Housemates conceded that Biggie's spanner will divide Housemate allegiances more, but that's the idea, it gets more interesting when things are roughed up.
Biggie dug into the Housemates minds as he probed them on what they thought about this week's theme; Social Awareness Week. Housemates unanimously told Biggie that the Rainbow Nation faces some important social issues and the two that came up tops were education and safe sex.
Thando was most vocal about this and said it begins with the kids, they're the future of our nation and it's family planning and education that we need to drive home to Mzansi's youngsters. Her message, "kids, stay in school, even if you're falling asleep in lessons", well said Lady T.
Poolie came hard on teenage pregnancy, a worldwide problem and from the mouth of babes, "it takes a boy to make a baby, it takes a man to raise a child", Poolie a man of few words but when he does speak, it's wisdom that springs forth.
Sexy Lexi also touched on family planning and stressed that parents need to be less uptight about sex education with their kids, it's openness and transparency around issues of contraception that will wisen kids up and improve our teenage pregnancy stats.
There's no surprise here, MK was all about a good education, "as long as you're living, you're learning", said the House voice of reason. What wise men we have in the Big Brother Mzansi House.
Iris and Loko made a bid for safe sex too, "we need to address teenage pregnancy, it's a massive problem", said Loko. She's not wrong, in 2012 alone, according to official estimates, 90,000 schoolgirls were pregnant. So big up Biggie for implementing Social Awareness Week, what better platform to amplify awareness of these issues like Big Brother Mzansi.
