Moments after the hectic Nominations Sessions, the rain poured down from above as if heart-broken from all the divisions in the House. While the rain could have been a reminder that the show must go on, we preferred to see the good fortune in it as we looked on to the Arena Games and some fit and feisty fun in the sun.On one side stood a team that comprised Mandla, Thando, Poolie, Iris and Kat while the rest composed the other team. This week the test was endurance, balance and team work. Housemates had to apply their core strength and solidarity to this challenge.
The Team members were strapped inside a harness and tied together with a bungee cord anchored into the ground. As the horn sounded teams had to scramble across the Arena to collect five cones that were peppered in various spots throughout the demarcated team zones.
Team A, consisting of Mzamo, Lexi, Loko and Sol, swept up each cone in order from the last person to the first and because they fulfilled the brief to the very detail won a reward. Nothing other than dancing and twerking ensued as they savoured their win and looked forward to a store-room treat, hopefully laced in booze and all sorts of shenanigans.
