For Thando's case, she had a backup plan, she went to the garden and asked Sol to wash the dishes on her behalf. Sol refused and as he was making his way into the House, Thando said she wants to make an offer.
He then turned back and asked what the offer would be. "I am offering you yellow things", Thando said. With a mission, she clarified that yellow things are "yellow bones" (term used to describe light skinned girls).
Sol still refused and said he doesn't want yellow bones as he is not into them. Thando being surprised said, "You don't want Lexi?"
Sol had mentioned to Mandla before, that he is not at all into Lexi. Sol said, he thinks she is beautiful but does not go gaga over her. He went to explain further to Thando that he has never dated a yellow bone girl at all.
The beauty queen went on and made another offer by saying that she was offering Sol something that would make him happy. Thando not being specific, was giving Sol mixed signs that she was offering something more than just yellow bones but was offering herself. When she was beating around the bush, Sol saw that she was becoming uncomfortable. Therefore Sol made an offer on her behalf and asked her to offer her alcohol as a trade.
Finally she accepted and said she will offer her one "sharp-sharp" (a term used by the housemates meaning booze/alcohol), but Sol negotiated for two "sharp-sharps". Thando hesitated at first but eventually agreed to give Sol two "sharp-sharps". The two hugged after the agreement.
