Big Brother Mzansi, the South African version of the world’s biggest reality television show is back after a 12 year hibernation and will be airing live on Sunday 2 February at 19h00 on Mzansi Magic (DStv Channel 161) for the opening show where the housemates and contestants will be announced.South Africa’s biggest musicians, such as Reason, Uhuru, The Arrows and DJ Ganyani featuring Si Anne, will perform at the gala event where the country’s latest reality stars will be revealed. Host Lungile Radu will also be joined on the new Big Brother stage by dancers Soweto’s Finest and Thembisa Revolution.
The housemates to be participating in Big Brother Mzansi will be covered round the clock on DStv Channels 197 and 198 as they compete for the South African Rand 1 million prize money.
DStv Premium, Extra and Compact subscribers will be able to watch Big Brother Mzansi 24/7, however, all the live shows, including the launch and the finale, will screen on Mzansi Magic.
The weekly nomination show every Monday at 21h30, the daily highlights shows from Tuesdays to Fridays at 21h30 and a round-up of the week’s highlights every Saturday at 17h00 will screen on Mzansi Magic.
